Aimee specializes in working with adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression and executive function deficits. Aimee has additional expertise providing educational consulting and advocacy for families and students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 Accommodations, as well as providing guidance on school choices using thoughtful consideration of their learning needs and preferences.
Aimee is a down-to-earth and genuine clinician who strives to foster an empathic and client-centered relationship and therapeutic environment so clients feel heard, understood and safe. All are welcome here.
Aimee earned her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Indiana University and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has worked in the fields of education and mental health in various capacities for over 20 years.
Aimee utilizes a whole person, humanistic, client-centered approach to her counseling sessions. Furthermore, mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, emotion focused work, as well as strength based approaches are incorporated into therapy with clients. Aimee’s experience includes working with individuals in clinical settings, telehealth, as well as advocacy work for families and students on site at schools.
